About Kyle's Krowd

Kyle’s Krowd a non profit 501 (c) (3) intends to help improve the quality of life of those afflicted with cerebral palsy, as well as the family, friends and relatives of those individuals.

Kyle’s Krowd’s goal is to become an advocate to individuals and their families who have been stricken with cerebral palsy and other developmental disabilities. The organization will work to raise funds and awareness through its website and social media presence in order to provide education and relief to as many CP sufferers as possible. Kyle’s Krowd will promote the latest research and hold fundraising events with the goal of one day discovering a cure, positive treatment and ongoing care for those individuals suffering with this affliction.

Cerebral Palsy (CP) is a devastating disease that afflicts 1.5 to more than 4 per 1,000 live births worldwide, and is the most common motor disability in childhood. As of 2014, there is no known cure.  Kyle's Krowd was named after Kyle James Smith, of Middletown, NJ, who was born premature with CP. In his short lifetime, he has seen numerous specialists and taken part in various therapies designed to improve his ability to ambulate and talk. Although he has made progress with each therapy, Kyle still has a long road to traverse in finding the treatment that will one day enable him to be an independent individual.

Kyle's Krowd intends to raise awareness and funds with hopes to one day to find a cure for individuals like Kyle who are afflicted with CP and other developmental disabilities.
